I have painted for many years, and was a part-time art tutor for adult education with Outreach for eight years.
I have successfully completed five years study with Open College of Art (Affiliated to the Open University) where I obtained a Diploma in Fine Art.
I have taken part in numerous open exhibitions and my work is regularly exhibited in galleries. I have paintings in corporate offices and in private collections in Scotland, England,Norway,Canada and America.

I am passionate about colour and I use a variety of mixed media to capture light, texture and atmosphere. My paintings range from vibrant imaginative landscapes to cubist coastal paintings and calm reflective works.
Living in Aberdeen I am spoiled for choice of subject from coastal villages to the farm houses and rolling fields of the countryside.
